My Story
Britney Caligiuri MHC-LP earned a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. She holds a Limited Permit to practice Mental Health Counseling and brings valuable experience from her work with the Orange County Crisis and Suicide Lifeline, where she specialized in crisis intervention.
Britney has also worked extensively with diverse populations within forensic settings including adolescents and individuals navigating substance use challenges. Her clinical approach is rooted in person-centered therapy integrating techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to meet each client’s unique needs. Britney has facilitated numerous group therapy sessions focused on addiction and mental health recovery and is deeply committed to helping clients achieve their goals through individualized, compassionate care. She strives to create an environment grounded in respect, integrity, trust, and acceptance, empowering clients to explore growth and healing at their own pace.
